So we begin. The first song of this project is Miss Mae. If you’re anything like me, you may spend the rest of your life paying off student loans. That’s how I met Ms. Sallie Mae, and it’s the longest relationship I’ve ever had. I can’t say I didn’t like college (I loved it, in fact), but damn I’d like to be excused from this detention.

The song Miss Mae is all a cappella. I produced it with a combination of beatboxing, layered vocal parts, bass vocals, and straight up singing. I wrote the third verse on a plane and the rest in Melbourne, Australia. That’s where I filmed it too using a stabilizer that follows your motions. You can find it everywhere (links below).

Finally, this is the start of a big project. I will be writing and recording a new a cappella song every week. This started after I had a birthday (Nov 7) and realized how much I need to get my music out there. Stay tuned as I grow my channel and see how far this journey takes me and my music.
