Richard Steighner

I love creative challenges, passionate teams, and innovative ways to bring things to life. I make as much noise as possible–I’m a beatboxer after all!

My degrees in Psychology and Design have both influenced how I approach the world. They ignited a passion to help others (and myself) express what’s inside and build the world we ant to see.

After designing restaurants and starting a custom furniture company, my career took off with my hobby–a cappella music.

It landed me on NBC’s The SingOff where my group and I made it to the end before coming runners-up to Pentatonix. But it was just the beginning. I formed a group with some friends from the show and we toured the world. 

Each audience, each culture meant more to learn, and it inspired a life of creativity. I learned to teach music, to run music programs, and eventually co-started my own non-profit organization.

Now, I am certified as Project Manager and as a Python Developer which I use to make bigger, better, and LOUDER projects every day.

I am forever grateful to everybody who has helped, critiqued, supported, hired, harmonized, contributed, and loved me along the way. It’s been a wonderful journey and there is so much more to come!
