The Empty Hydro IN Glasgow

It wasn’t this empty, but close hahah

I hate to say it but I don’t have much to write here. Not that Scotland isn’t incredible. Not that Glasgow isn’t a cool town. None of that. We simply only spent 12 hours here. Again, with the way the end of the tour was scheduled, our time in Glasgow was cut way short.

We flew in this morning, sang the show, flew out in the evening.

The Hydro was a really cool venue, the most like a pure concert arena on the tour. With stadium style seating in 180 degree circle around the floor, it felt great on stage. Again, we had All Saints as a support group, and we found out that the venues were having us go on right as the doors were opening. It’s always a fight in the music business.

The arena was nearly empty when we started and nearly full when we finished. Frustrating. Again, if we had a big hit like them, it’d be different I suppose. Let’s put that on the to-do list.

The Exchange in the cockpitAfter the show we left quickly for the airport. On the plane the flight attendant asked us who we were, and insisted that we take a picture with the pilot. I think she assumed we were the Backstreet Boys. I’m not going to argue with her 🙂 I have no qualms being mistaken for a celebrity!
