Now officially a part of The University of Rochester Yellowjackets….what that means, I don’t know.

So the man Jordan Fontheim can’t do the show and I’m on the East Coast. I’m honored to be asked to jump in for this last minute gig, and of course I’ll take any chance I can get to sing! Let’s be real…

So sporting a yellow jacket (doiee) and a story about graduating from college (not recently and not from U of R), we hit it. Just a few songs and then free wine. Who would turn that down…if you’ve read my other posts you may be getting a theme here.

We sang. We schmoozed. We talked about U of R. We talked about our experience on the Sing-Off. And then we bounced.

On a side note, it was great to meet Aaron’s brother on the way to the gig. Also, great to meet Chris Diaz’s roomies. Not great to watch the rest of the fellas head down to South American for the Semester at Sea cruise. Ooof. I couldn’t go because I had (about a year prior) signed up to go to a festival in New York that same week to display and sell our furniture (www.kaleiddesign.com). I think it’s bad business/mojo to quit on something like that. I’ve had some awesome travel opportunities so it is just an honor to even have that opportunity.

See you next time Boston!
