Hey y’all…something big happened in Austin, Texas May 2024 . This marked the first US-based Global Music Collective project focused on celebrating the diverse array of cultures right outside the door in Austin 
and oh MY did we have some really special collaborators for this one.
Latin Grammy superstar Gina Chavez and Ugandan virtuoso Jon Muq joinde forces with Kate Bass and Richard Steighner to collaborate, communicate, and make some noise!
In less than 2 weeks, they wrote an album which is set to release in 2026 under the production of Richard Steighner.
Huge, resounding thanks Kate Bass for winning the grant from the City of Austin Live Music Fund and The Long Center. Thank you to those organizations as well for helping to make this project possible
