We believe in this art form: it’s free for anybody, everybody can do it (singing, beatboxing, even clapping), and singing together has been shown to develop cultural bonds.
With the rise of the Pitch Perfect movie series, the success of Grammy winning groups like Take 6 and Pentatonix, and the rapid growth of a cappella festivals in the U.S., there is a lot of music to spread to the world.
For those of us who got our start singing in a scholastic environment, we can speak first hand to the positive effect it had on our lives. It’s a good way to meet new people, express yourself, tackle the fear of crowds as a group, and create something. This is increasingly crucial around the world.
We’ve developed programs to drop into a community and balance positive impact with cultural respect. It’s not a mission to change peoples’ ways–only to give them the tools and experience to continue making music.
